Description
MiniMAX 500 – RAPID BUILD KIT – Comes part assembled so can be finished within a couple hours. The machine with a small footprint that packs a big punch. MiniMAX is designed for the small home hobby workshop. However, still produces finished parts to the same standard as larger commercial machines. The kit comes complete with everything required to finish off the assembly. Included in the kit are all rivets, seals and catches, bolts and fixtures required. The wiring is pre done and simply a case of push fitting the correct cables into the correct sockets.

NB: THIS MACHINE IS SUPPLIED AS A FLAT PACK KIT, YOU HAVE TO ASSEMBLE AND SEAL THE PRODUCT YOURSELF. ALL THE FABRICATION WORK IS PRE DONE, THERE IS NO BENDING REQUIRED, ITS SIMPLY A CASE OF POP RIVETING PANELS TOGETHER THEN SEALING JOINTS.
WE RECOMMEND GETTING AN AIR RIVETER, THE RIVETS ARE 4.8MM STAINLESS STEEL AND CAN BE QUITE DIFFICULT TO PULL IN BY HAND. AIR RIVETERS AREÂ AVAILABLE ON LINE AND ARE RELATIVELY INEXPENSIVE.Â

Truly excellent value blaster, you will need an air rivet gun, I used the Clarke CAT 151 and it worked brilliantly. One mistake I made in the assembly of the sump was to rivet the side panel on the outside of the flange instead of the inside. When assembled two diagonally opposite rivets just didn’t line up, a quick email to Max and he rang me and showed me what I had done wrong. Rather than remove 28 rivets I redrilled the offending holes.
Support from Max has been amazing, answers emails nearly immediately and is incredibly helpful. In use the machine does a wonderful job of cleaning engine parts and cases for my restoration projects.
I can strongly recommend this product.

Very smooth transaction and delivery, assembly instructions were simple and straight to the point, took my time doing it and it went as it should have. I did have 1 small leak from 1 rivet but easily fixed with sealer. I would suggest putting some washers on the long door nuts as they make the door alot smoother.

Beautiful product. Went together relatively easily. I used a Neilsen Air Hydraulic Riveter 5mm, which worked fine. Max answered every question I sent him really promptly and helpfully. I’ve never used a riveter before but it’s just another air tool. Do look out for the longer rivets which are just for the gauntlet seals – I used several in the main body and drilled them out as I’m a bit perfectionist about the appearance. Excellent all round.
